Dr. Saarthak Bakshi didB.Tech in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology. He began his career as a software engineer at Infosys and worked with Ernst & Young (EY) later.
With early experiences, his interest evolved in technology, business systems, risk management and corporate processes. His interest in leadership and entrepreneurship motivated him to expand his academic and professional horizons through management education. Over the years, his technology background became a foundation for approaching business ultimatum through proper structured thinking and innovation.
Growing Up Watching Dr. Rita Bakshi
For Dr. Bakshi, healthcare was never unfamiliar. He grew up watching his mother Dr. Rita Bakshi who built her career in fertility and assisted reproductive care. This gave him an early view of realities of the healthcare industry and challenges faced by couples seeking fertility treatment.
Watching her interaction with the patients, it helped him understand that healthcare extends apart from medical procedures. And it involves trust, communication, empathy and an understanding of the emotional journey of patients.
As Dr. Bakshi entered the healthcare sector on his own, the early exposure became an important influence. His association with women’s healthcare and fertility brought him closer to the field in which his mother has experience of over 35 years.

Today he serves as a founder and CEO of Risaa IVF, focusing on the entrepreneurial, operational and organizational aspects of healthcare. The partnership of this duo brought together two distinct areas of expertise. Dr. Saarthak Bakshi has worked on building and managing the organizational side of the healthcare ecosystem, on the other hand, Dr. Rita Bakshi’s work has centered on fertility medicine and patient care.
Expanding Into IIRFT and Neos Angels
Dr. Bakshi’s leadership journey reaches far beyond the walls of a medical office . He also serves as Director and CEO of International Institute of Reproduction and Fertility Training (IIRFT), which focuses on professional education and training in assisted reproductive technology and fertility care.
Along with healthcare, he has developed a presence in the startup ecosystem through Neos Angels. Being an entrepreneur and investor, he supports early stage startups across sectors such as healthcare, edtech, social impact enterprises and consumer businesses. He has invested in more than 30 startups and has also worked with founders through mentorship and strategic guidance which helps him in his journey.
